METALLICA Cancel South American & Japanese Dates, Cite 'Physical And Mental Exhaustion'
October 17, 2003METALLICA have cancelled their previously announced South American tour due to "physical and mental exhaustion," it was announced today. The group's Japanese trek, which was to follow immediately the South American dates, is also believed to be affected by the cancellation.
According to the band's Argentine promoter, CIE Presenta, an official announcement will be made on Monday (October 20) as to whether the South American dates will be rescheduled of if they will be postponed indefinitely.
